Grabbing the retro-spotlight in the 20th anniversary celebration at Trolley Square is a flashback to the fashions of 1972. Above left, Karman Wilson dons an off-white loose-fitting maxi dress accented with a beaded shawl, while Ken Wilson steps out in the look of leisure: the denim leisure suit byword of double decades past. The bell-bottom trousers flare up with top-stitch detail on the yoked jacket. The ensemble screams seventies with a polyester, double-knit sport shirt layer. The time-worn fashions are courtesy of Eclectic. With a sigh of relief, Julianne, at right, updates the fashion scene to fall, 1992, with an Anne Taylor navy pantsuit. The wide leg trouser boasts a side closure and is topped with a belted wrap jacket and navy body suit. Trolley Square merchants will participate in a special showing Saturday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m., with KSL-TV anchorperson, Carole Mikita as host. Merchants participating include Anne Taylor, Talbots, Banana Republic, Clog Corner, Chalk Garden, JMR Chalk Garden, Chalk Garden MAN, Bulgari Fashions, The Gap, The Limited, Haroon's, Mountain Fever, Sportstalker, Laura Ashley, Mogo Tees, Oxford Court and Carl's Leather.
