CANDIDATE WANTS TO CHANGE ELECTION LAWS

Natural Law Party of America's vice presidential candidate Mike Tompkins wants to stop the unjust election laws which discriminate against independent and third party candidates.

Tompkins and presidential candidate John Hagelin have fulfilled ballot access requirements in Utah and 27 other states. Still, Tompkins feels left out.He issued a press release that said Republicans and Democrats receive $133 million from taxpayers to run their conventions and general elections while independent and third party candidates get no support.

Furthermore, Tompkins wrote, independent and third party presidential candidates face enormous hurdles for ballot access. Nationally an independent and third party candidate must collect 26 times more signatures than a Republican or Democratic candidate.
