Kristin LaRae Brothersen, 18, died September 19, 1992 due to injuries from automobile accident.
Born June 22, 1974 in Provo, Utah, a daughter of Boyd A. and Avrin D. Deuel Brothersen. Member of the LDS Church. Kristin was a special spirit, always active and involved in projects. She loved community involvement, she planted flowers in the city flower gardens and worked as a candy striper at the hospital. She served as an election judge for recent primary elections. She was a talented actress, involved in many stage productions. She was active in speech and drama, traveling extensively with the debate team and competing in Lincoln-Douglas debate, Impromptu and Extemporaneous speech. Because of Kristin's academic achievements, she was accepted as a freshman at the University of Utah, and would have begun classes on September 28th. She truly "lit up" the lives of people whose paths she crossed. She was very loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Survived by parents, Boyd and Avrin Brothersen, sisters, Melody and Tiffany, brother, Adam, grandparents, Verge and Amoir Deuel, Lois Brothersen, and great-grandmother, Hulda Spencer, all of Mt. Pleasant.
Family and friends may call Ursenbach Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Monday 7-9 p.m., and Tuesday 11:30-12:30 p.m. Services will be Tuesday, September 28, 1992, 1 p.m., Mt. Pleasant Stake Center. Burial, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
