AMERICAN PARTY HOPEFUL SEEKS REVIEW OF LAWS

American Party gubernatorial candidate Gary Van Horn announced he would appoint a committee to review all Utah laws passed in the past 25 years to make recommendations on which ones should be repealed.

He also plans to develop recommendations for the elimination of some state entities and ask the Legislature to pass bills abolishing the property tax on primary residences.Van Horn and lieutenant governor candidate Arly Pedersen will outline on Wednesday their program for cutting the size and cost of government and taxes.
