Utah Valley Community College is offering a life-planning seminar for women, "Getting What You Want in Life Without Feeling Guilty," beginning Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m.
This three-week course, held every Thursday, will emphasize decisionmaking, projecting goals and formulating workable plans.Karen Pool, UVCC's gender equity program coordinator, and Jeri Christopherson, Brigham Young University instructor of clothing and textiles, will teach the course.
"The course will particularly benefit women who are caught in a time of emotional and financial transition," Pool said. "It will also help women who feel like their lives are chronically on hold, with little or no time to meet their own wants and needs."
