CHEMISTRY TEACHER SAYS SLIP-UP WASN'T HIS FAULT

Chemistry teacher Lee Marek says it was David Letterman's fault that the talk show host - and not the "Late Night" audience - was sprayed with foam during a recent experiment.

Marek planned to shoot plastic foam through a shredder, producing an electrical charge that would send foam spraying onto the studio audience."They wouldn't let me rehearse. I didn't know they had big fans directed at the stage. So, instead of blowing it into the audience, it blew all over the camera people and Letterman," Marek said.

How did Marek escape the foam storm? "I saw it coming and left."
