J. D. "Bud" Hadley, age 78, died September 28, 1992 in a local hospital.

He was born July 23, 1914 in Salt Lake City to Thomas J. and Mary Jane Dougherty Hadley. Married Elda Busenbark; she died in June, 1968. Married Faun Jensen, July 10, 1969 in Elko, Nevada. Bud retired from American Oil after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Veteran, World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.Survived by wife, Faun; daughter, Mary and husband, Dennis Almond; stepsons, George and wife, Marsha Jensen; Jim Jensen; stepdaughter, Kathy and husband, Lane Rudelich; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Maebell Olson. Preceded in death by brothers, James and Ken, a sister, Vivian.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, September 30, 1992, 12 noon at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1975 So. 2300 East. Vigil Service will be held Tuesday 7:30 p.m. at the Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call Tuesday 6:30 to 7:30. Committal: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street.
