What: Open house for Fire Station No. 2. Tours will be conducted, Smokey Bear will be on hand, and free blood pressure checks will be available. A fire prevention open house will be held at the city's main fire station.
When: Thursday, Oct. 8. The new station's open house will be from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., while the main station will be open from 5-8 p.m.
Where: The new fire station is at 2701 N. Church St.; the main station is at 199 N. Fort Lane.
