Recognizing the diversity of business needs in each area of Utah is a right step in ensuring a bright economic future for the state, said Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Bennett.
Bennett said greater Salt Lake and Utah County are doing fairly well, rural and northern Utah have distinct differences."The next senator is going to have to balance the economic responsibilities and challenges in all four Utahs," Bennett said referring to the four economic areas of the state.
Bennett said rural Utah faces uncertainty until the Bureau of Land Management wilderness bill is passed.
Bennett said the Wasatch Front must stop ignoring the economic diversity of rural and northern Utah.
