The Provo/Orem Chamber of Commerce will update the business community on issues facing the valley during its annual Community Leadership Conference at Sundance.
The conference will be Thursday, Oct. 8, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Registration is $30 for chamber members and $35 for non-chamber members. The fee includes breakfast, lunch and conference handouts and materials.The daylong conference features community leaders discussing such issues as: master plans of Provo and Orem; the futures of Utah Lake and the Utah County Jail; tourism in Utah County; and an update on Provo's Town Square and road work in Provo Canyon.
"All business decisions rely on information. The more information, the more reliable the decisions," said Ron King, chairman of the chamber's board of directors. "This is an ideal opportunity to prepare to meet the challenges that come with having a business in this fast growing economic zone."
