They've appeared in many TV incarnations, been the subject of a play and a tell-all book, and now the Brady Bunch is coming to the silver screen.

Paramount Pictures, which produced the original TV series that ran from 1969 to 1974 (and has been seen in syndication ever since), plans to release "The Brady Bunch Movie" next summer."We're hoping this will be the first of `The Brady Bunch' movies," David Kirkpatrick, one of the producers, told USA Today.

Brady creator Sherwood Schwartz and his son Lloyd are co-producers. Unknown look-alikes will be cast in the key roles, but Sherwood Schwartz says he hopes to persuade some of the original cast to play neighbors in the final scene.
