S.L. BENEFIT WILL AID HUMANE SOCIETY

The opening night of "City of Angels," a national touring production being brought to Salt Lake City by the Theater League of Utah, will include a special benefit for the Wasatch Humane Society.

A block of main-floor seats in the Capitol Theatre for Tuesday, Sept. 22, has been set aside for Wasatch Humane donors.Funds from the benefit will be used for statewide educational programs, allowing schoolchildren to have lessons on pet care, animal safety and information about endangered species.

The Space Agency, the Theater League of Utah, KTVX and First Interstate Bank are coordinating efforts for the benefit, which will include a post-show reception.

Benefit tickets must be ordered by no later than Tuesday, Sept. 15. For further information, contact Sheri Martinez at 451-5565 or Lynn Bradak at 451-7770.
