Beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and friend to many died January 20, 1993 in an accidental shooting.
Born June 23, 1959 in Salt Lake City to Evon and Alfred Martinez. Graduated from Granite High School in 1977. Employed as a brakeman/switchman for 15 years at Union Pacific. Rick was an avid golfer and enjoyed sports of all kinds especially pro football.Rick is survived by parents, Evon and Alfred; brother, Mike and wife Susan; sisters, Kim; Karlene and husband, David; nieces, Lindsey and Jamie; nephew, Drew.
Cryptside services will be held Monday, January 25, 2 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Everlasting Garden Mausoleum). Friends may call one hour prior to services at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So Highland Drive.
