Russell Shepherd (Shep) Justesen, 81, died January 22, 1993 in Ferron.
Born November 4, 1911 in Orangeville, Utah to Rasmus O. and Alice V. Snow Justesen. Married Leah Sitterud in the Manti Temple, October 29, 1936. He was a member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions. Mayor of Orangeville City, served on 1st Cottonwood Creek Conservative Board, was a board member of the Horn Mountain Cattlemen's Association, and proud member of the UMWA, Local 1261.Survived by wife, Leah; children, Annalee and Dick Jones, Karl S. and Gloria Justesen, Kathryn and Tracy Addley; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, brother and sisters, William, Iris, Janice and Loye. Preceded in death by a son, Russell Ole Justesen, and a great-grandson, Jason Kim Jones.
Funeral, Tuesday, January 26, 11 a.m. in the Orangeville LDS Church, where friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Burial, Orangeville City Cemetery, under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
