Mable Edith Manley McCann, age 92, our loving mother, grandmother, and sister returned to her Heavenly Father January 22, 1993.
Born March 17, 1900 in Albia, Iowa to John K. and Anna M. Ellis Manley. Married Almon L. McCann April 22, 1918 in Chariton, Iowa; later solemnized in Manti Temple. He died July 5, 1961. She was raised on a farm near Albia, Iowa and attended the Albia schools. Moved to East Carbon, Utah in 1948 .Member of the LDS Church, served in many positions and also did temple work. All her children and family greatly mourned her death, and "granny" was much loved by all.
Survived by one son, Delmar (Evelyn) McCann, Laveen, Arizona; three daughters, Eileen Biermann, Balwin, Missouri; Marjorie (Don) Ramey, Fairview, Utah; Adrienne Williams, Albia, Iowa; 19 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sister, Opal Hogan, San Diego, California. Preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbur and John Manly; daughter, Patricia Currie; son, John McCann; grandson, John McCann, Jr.; granddaughter, Belinda McCann.
Funeral services in the East Carbon LDS Chapel at 2 p.m. on January 26, 1993. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the church. Burial and graveside services will be held in the Memory Lawn Park in Phoenix, Arizona on January 28, 1993 at 2 p.m. Services under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
