"A Conversation With Philip Kaufman" will be just that, as the Sundance Film Festival presents a Filmmaker Discussion with the director of "The Right Stuff," "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" and other films being shown in a retrospective over the course of the festival. It's scheduled Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the Z Place hospitality suite.
Kaufman will discuss his films, his personal approach to films and the diverse nature of the subjects that interest him. He'll also talk about the film he's finishing now, an adaptation of Michael Crichton's controversial novel "Rising Sun," which stars Sean Connery and Wesley Snipes.Meanwhile, movies continue to be the main emphasis at theaters in Park City and at the Sundance Resort screening room.
