Marjorie Bush Clements, age 87, died January 20, 1993 in Salt Lake of causes incident to age.
Born May 29, 1905 in Garland, Utah to Richard LeRoy and Rozella Mae Shields Bush. Married Charlie Leslie Clements on November 14, 1925 in Salt Lake City; later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died January 10, 1993.Secretary at Uinta Elementary and East High School in the Salt Lake City School District. Counselor several times in Primary and Relief Society Presidencies. Member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She had the ability to memorize and recite poetry.
Survivors: son, C. Roland Clements and wife Bette; daughter, Carolyn C. (Kelly) Griffiths and husband Larry, all Salt Lake; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Bush, Cody, Wyoming.
Funeral services will be held at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Wednesday, January 27 at 1 p.m. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday one hour prior to service at the mortuary. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
