When I listened to all the fuss that was made over the fact that President Clinton is sending his daughter to a private school, I couldn't help wonder why so many American are so upset over it as if it were something terrible.

Americans should be glad he is sending his daughter to a school where God is still welcome and where constitutional principles and moral characteristics can still be taught and songs of Christ can still be sung at Christmastime.I was also thinking how nice it would be if all of these same Americans were as stirred up over "the new world order," something they should be.

George Washington and our founding fathers each warned us against getting ourselves involved with the affairs of other countries, and J. Reuben Clark, the finest of constitutional lawyers, warned of the same.

Nowhere in our Constitution does it allow for our government to protect lives and properties of other nations. American lives and taxpayers cannot take care of the entire world, neither are we supposed to.

Where are all these elected leaders who swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States and to protect our sovereignty, and where do we stand as individuals?
