Micromega Inc., 7001 W. 900 East, has developed a jobline for the Utah information technologies industry in response to a survey conducted by the Utah Information Technologies Association.

Peter R. Genereaux, association president, said it is projected that 14,500 employees will be needed in the information technology industry in the next three years. The jobline will be a valuable tool in matching job seekers with companies.Job seekers can call 561-8688 for free. Utah information technology companies can list job openings for a fee by calling 561-5022, extension 36, to request an employer identification number and a system password.

Bruce Tenney, business manager for Micromega, said state-of-the-art telecommunication allows the jobline to be less expensive that the traditional methods of announcing job openings.
