On January 24, 1993, Florence Ellen Bradley, Ganna Brad to those who loved her, age 89, passed on peacefully in her sleep to join her beloved Pappy Brad in eternity.
She was born on February 20, 1903 in Lexington, Nebraska to Will and Addie Harris Powell. She met her future husband, Everett Franklin Bradley, in North Platte, Nebraska, where they married. They lived in Kansas, Newfoundland and Alaska, where she worked for the U. S. Government before settling in Salt Lake City for their retirement.She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Carr of Escondido, California; daughter, Betty Jo Coleman and son-in-law Henry Coleman of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren, JoAnne Parks of Roundup, Montana; Brad and Jim Steorts of Billings, Montana and Jeanette Falkenrath of Salt Lake City; nine great-grandchildren: Teresa Hice of Roundup, Montana; Angela Parks, Matthew and Lisa Steorts, Kelsey and Whitney Steorts, all of Billings, Montana; Alex, Lewis and Nathan Falkenrath of Salt Lake City. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Everett in 1978, brothers, Ralph and Neal and sister, Myrtle.
She will be remembered by all who knew her for her strong devotion to her family, her even-tempered disposition and her sweet, gentle smile.
Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 1993 in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 So Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah (Mountain View Section).
