Keaton Bliss Dayton, age 82, died January 25, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born August 22, 1910 in Dingle, Idaho to William F. and Jane Follick Dayton. Married Grace Johanna Gerwien on July 12, 1933 in the Logan LDS Temple.Keaton built his own home and his garden was a source of pride and joy. He also enjoyed boating. Retired from Kennecott Copper in 1974, after 32 years. Served LDS Swiss-German mission (1928-1931). Currently serving as assistant High Priest group leader and has served in many callings throughout his life.

Known affectionately as "Grandpa" to many people, he is survived by his wife of South Salt Lake; two daughters, Barbara Moore of Carmichael, Calif.; and Sharen Sharpton, Salt Lake City; one son, Lynn G. Dayton, Sandy; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services on Thursday, January 28th, at 11 a.m., Madison Ward Chapel, 300 East and 2700 South. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m., and at the Ward on Thursday, 10-10:45 a.m. Burial, Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
