The former nanny for Mia Farrow's children has cast her vote in the custody case between the actress and her longtime lover, Woody Allen.

She testified in a pretrial custody hearing that the comedian is the better parent. Monica Thompson, who worked for Farrow for seven years until she quit Monday, said the charges by Farrow that Allen sexually molested their children "are not true."The hearing is being held behind closed doors and her statement was released by an Allen representative, Leslee Dart, as the custody battle over the famous couple's three children headed for trial in state Supreme Court, possibly next month.

According to the statement, Thompson said, "After I got the subpoena, I couldn't work there anymore, for I knew I wasn't going to testify for Mia Farrow. Woody Allen was always the better parent and all the things Miss Farrow is saying about him are not true."
