Donal Wells Richmond, 75, passed away October 18, 1993 in Canyon City, Colorado.

Born February 24, 1918, Provo, Utah to Orson Wells and Pernoma Jolley Richmond. Married to Carma Vickers in Fort Worth, Texas, August 23, 1942. Sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on February 25, 1943. Preceded in death by Carma and grandson, Ryan Waite. Don served with distinction as a member of the Army Air Corps during World War II, and served honorably until his retirement from the USAF in March of 1967. He and his family later moved to Colorado Springs, where he worked as a management specialist for the Civil Service until his retirement in 1978. He was a dedicated family man who loved, honored and cherished his wife and children. He loved to spend time teaching his children and grandchildren through word of mouth and by example. Service to his fellow men was exemplified by his membership in the LDS Church, and the many positions of teaching and leadership, capsulated by his calling to be District President in the Maine Mission.Survived by two daughters, Martha R. Waite, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Julianne Richmond, Salt Lake City; son, Michael D. Richmond, South Jordan; 13 grandchildren; sister, Ruth Richmond, Provo; two brothers, J. L. Richmond, Riverside, Calif.; Kaye Richmond, Orem.

Funeral services Friday, Oct. 22, 1993, at 11 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Nephi Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
