The Lawton, Okla., Blue Jays spoiled Salt Lake's opener in the National Adult Baseball Association's Championship Tournament held Monday in Tempe, Ariz. Salt Lake jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning and held on to the lead until Lawton rallied for three runs in the fifth inning.

Lawton was led by Ron Medina's two-RBI single and Ronny Bowen's two-hit pitching.There are 40 teams competing for titles in four divisions in the NABA's week-long national tournament.
