I am constantly amazed at the hysteria promoted by the "environmentalists," the EPA and the state "green" people.
I hear now that they can save us from air pollution if we simply give up all our freedoms; mandatory car-pooling, electric buses, oxyfuels, etc.The state people are especially good at being degradingly submissive when the federal tyrants threaten to withhold highway money (which they took from us in the first place) because Salt Lake Valley exceeds the EPA's arbitrary air pollution level on some occasions during the year.
Maybe after the state loses lots of our own money (transferred through the highly inefficient federal government), state officials and citizens both will decide to reassert our sovereignty.
The people of Utah will tell their elected state officials when they want to give up their God-given, inalienable, constitutional freedoms in exchange for environmental Ponzi schemes. Until then, buzz off.
