The department of educational leadership at Brigham Young University has received a grant from the Danforth Foundation to support its continuing work in the National Alliance for Developing School Leaders.

The $112,000 grant will be used by a consortium of four universities that are working cooperatively to improve programs to prepare school administrators. The other National Alliance institutions include East Tennessee State University, Florida State University and Virginia Tech.In the past six years, more than 100 educators have graduated from BYU's Leaders Preparation Program.
