ANC President Nelson Mandela talks with Indian children Friday in the Hawkers district of Durban, South Africa. On Thursday, Mandela spoke in nearby Inkatha territory hours after negotiators completed a constitution that ends white minority rule. The constitution was expected to be approved when white lawmakers convene on Monday. Police arrested 10 people and confiscated two homemade guns from protesters outside the stadium where Mandela spoke. They were members of Inkatha, the main black rival to the ANC.
