The Salt Lake Golden Eagles announced Thursday that they have added defenseman Steve Wilson to their roster.

Wilson, a 6-foot-1, 205-pound native of Ontario, has been playing for the Dayton Bombers of the East Coast Hockey League. He was expected to sign a 25-game tryout contract with the Eagles on Friday.Wilson, a second-year pro, played four seasons for Miami University in Ohio. He led Dayton defensemen in goals last year, with 11.

The Eagles, trying to end a four-game losing streak, will play Cleveland tonight in the Delta Center.
