The Lieder of Joseph Marx (1882-1964) will be the topic of a lecture-recital to be presented Sunday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. at the Newman Center, 120 S. University Ave.

Performing will be mezzo-soprano Rebecca Dimick, accompanied by John Frauzel, on a program that also includes songs of Strauss, Wolf and Debussy. The Marx songs were only made available for publication as recently as 1992.Dimick is director of the Utah Mozart Festival and artistic director of Opera West. Admission is free.
