Mary Hori Nakata, born in Grant, Idaho on 22 February 1927, died in Santa Ana, California 17 November 1993.
Born third of nine children to Seitaro and Rin Hori.She is survived by two brothers: Kiyomaro of Oregon; Kiyoaky of Washington; four sisters: Cora and Bertha of Oregon; Uki of Utah; and Jean of Montana; children: son, Frank J. Nakata, Utah; daughters, Shirley and Frances, of California; grandchildren: grandsons, David, Michael of Nephi; and granddaughter, RuthAnne in Utah; great-grandson, Alexi.
Lived 22 years around Idaho Falls area before marrying Frank S. Nakata. She lived and raised her family in Preston, Idaho for 31 years. Moved to Salt Lake for one year, then moved to California until her passing.
Services held at Gravesite only, Tuesday, November 23, at 10:30 a.m. Santa Ana Cemetery.
