James Clifton Nusbaum, 86, passed away Saturday, November 20, 1993 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center.

He was born August 4, 1907 in Frontier County, Nebraska, a son of William David and Mary Matilda Parsons Nusbaum. He married Bernice Rogers August 23, 1930 in Tucson, Arizona; later sealed in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple. His bride of 63 years preceded him in death by 22 days.

A high priest in the LDS Church. Among other callings, he served on the El Paso, Texas high council, bishop of the Denver, Colorado First Ward and as the Denver stake clerk.

Surviving are a son, James Clifford Nusbaum, Arvada, Colo.; three daughters, Carolyn Mae (Keith) Crandell, Mesa, Ariz.; Janice Louise Nusbaum, Flanders, New Jersey; and Marjorie Bernice (John) Hurdsman, Brigham City, Utah; 24 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 22, 11 a.m. in the Olsen-Myers Mortuary, 205 South First East, Brigham City, where friends may call Sunday, 6-7:30 p.m. and Monday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Brigham City Cemetery.
