Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Charles Robert Turner, passed away on November 19, 1993 of incidents due to stroke.

He was born on January 8, 1919 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Albert and Anna Laura Brown Turner. He married his sweetheart, Marjorie Bagley, on October 8, 1941 in Salt Lake City. They were later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple.Charles was a member of the LDS Church, where he served faithfully in many church callings. His most recent and loved calling was that of an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Charles attended the University of Utah where he was a running back for the Utes during which time they won the NCAA Championship. He and his team mates were recently honored at a University of Utah homecoming game.

Charles was a prominent and successful businessman in Grand Junction until his retirement brought him to Bountiful where he could be near his family, whom he loved dearly.

His love and presence will always be with those he left behind: his wife, Marjorie; daughters, Laurie Peach (Lloyd), Bountiful; Margaret Cranney (Roger), Fruit Heights; Nancy Gremler, West Bountiful; Barbara Hicks (Randy), Huntsville; 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Warren Turner, Grand Junction. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Janet; a brother, Albert; and a sister, Laura Jean.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 1993 at 1 p.m. in the North Canyon Stake Center, 965 East Oakwood Drive (3100 South). Friends may call Monday evening from 7-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Tuesday at the church from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. prior to the services.
