A mural of rock 'n' roll guitar legend Jimi Hendrix painted above a music store where Hendrix' father bought his son's first electric guitar was unveiled Sunday in downtown Seattle.

Al Hendrix, the late guitarist's father, was among those attending a ceremony to dedicate the 18-foot by 40-foot black-and-white mural of Jimi Hendrix."He'd have thought, `This is great,"' Al Hendrix said of his son, who died in 1970 at age 27 of drug-related complications.
