Public meeting

Salt Lake City City officials want to store dirt from construction in an undeveloped portion of Popperton Park. Residents below the construction project have complained about trucks hauling dirt through their neighborhoods when the project calls for the dirt to be brought back and used in landscaping after construction is finished. And some residents near the park don't want the dirt stored there.

When: Tonight at 7 p.m.

Where: Shriners Hospital School Room, Fairfax Road and Virginia.

Why should I care? The meeting was called so city officials can learn what residents want done about the problem.
