Submissions are sought for the Deseret News' annual "Christmas I Remember Best" writing contest. Short, original stories of actual events that occurred during the Christmas season will be reviewed by Deseret News editors with up to five chosen for publication the week before Christmas.
Entries should be legibly presented, preferably typewritten, and between 800 and 1,000 words. A self-addressed, stamped envelope should be included if the entry is to be returned.The authors of the stories chosen for publication will receive $50 from the Deseret News.
Entries are due Tuesday, Nov. 30, and should be addressed to "Christmas I Remember Best," c/o Deseret News, P.O. Box 1257, Salt Lake City, UT 84110. They may also be hand delivered to 30 E. 100 South. For more information call 237-2135.
