A Brigham Young University graduate student and three faculty members were among those honored at the Utah Nurses Association's annual convention, "Celebrating 75 Years of Nursing in Utah."

April Lassen, a graduate student in the nursing administration master's program at BYU, was given the Clinical Practice Award.Also receiving awards were BYU faculty members Cynthia O'Neill Conger, who was given the Educator Award; Lois Brandriet, who was honored with the Research Award; and Sandra Mangum, who received the Celebrate Nursing Award.

Conger was recognized for outstanding teaching. Brandiet was honored for her work in gerontology, while Mangum was recognized for her research on the patient's perception of nurses.
