Orem

During its meeting Tuesday, Nov. 23, the Orem City Council will:

- Consider a resolution providing funding for installation of a traffic signal at 1600 North and 400 East.

- Hear a report and consider accepting an audit of the city's fiscal 1992-93 finances.

- Consider a resolution outlining the city's participation in maintenance of roads in planned residential developments.

- Hold a 7 p.m. public hearing on Skyline Development Co.'s proposed annexation of Cherapple Farms.

- Hold a public hearing on a proposed hospital overlay zone and amending certain zoning standards.

- Consider amending the ordinance governing private police or detectives to eliminate the U.S. citizenship requirement.

- Consider a resolution dedicating property at 1475 S. 360 West for a neighborhood park and appointing a park advisory committee to design the park.

- Consider a resolution approving a conditional use permit for ball fields at Orem High School, 175 S. 400 East. The council also will consider approving an agreement between the city and the Alpine School District governing use of the fields.

- Discuss what kind of spring cleanup service to provide in 1994.

- Consider a resolution allocating funds for the graffiti-busters program.

- Hold a redevelopment agency meeting to consider a request from Murdock-Gilbert and Associates for tax increment financing for a development project on the northeast corner of Orem Boulevard and 400 South. The project is in a redevelopment zone. The increment would amount to approximately $6,000 per year for the next seven years.
