Detectives are looking for five suspects in two separate armed robberies over the weekend in Salt Lake City.

Sunday, two men entered a convenience store at 515 N. 300 West about 7 a.m. and put two cases of beer on the counter. When the clerk asked for identification, one of the suspects grabbed cartons of cigarettes, pulled out a gun and said, "This is my ID," a police report states.Both suspects then ran off.

Another store at 39 N. I St. was robbed about 8:45 p.m. Friday. three men entered H & H Market and browsed for a few minutes, then went outside to use the pay phone. They returned a few minutes later and one man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money, Salt Lake police reported.

The men took money, food stamps and cigarettes and then fled.
