Police and fire crews spent most of the morning cleaning up, and an elementary school was evacuated, after a tanker truck rollover south of Shepard Lane on U.S. 89.

The accident occurred about 4:15 a.m. Lt. Kelly Sparks of the Davis County Sheriff's Department said no one was injured, but officials were worried that liquid propane from the tanker would ignite. They closed the southbound lanes for several hours but opened one lane during rush hour.Nearby Knowlton Elementary School, 801 W. Shepard Lane, Farmington, was evacuated and closed for the day about 10 a.m. because of the fear of a possible explosion from the tanker spill.
