I tried to run for the office of governor of this great state of Utah in 1992 but was discriminated against and completely "shut out" of the electoral process because I was a write-in candidate. My constitutional rights as a registered, qualified candidate and person were trampled and ignored.

Under present discriminatory TV and news rules and attitudes and the two-party rules that automatically eliminate many wiser and better-qualified candidates, it seems to make no difference to them that they are violating the people's constitutional rights by doing so.We have a president who is proving to me that he is incapable of thinking past his ego when he condones the murder of the unborn and allowing perverts in the military.

The war I'm most concerned about is the "moral war" from within, not without, our nation's borders. Under the Clinton administration, we all lose. How did he get in anyway?

We need another presidential election. "Free election," including some great write-ins, for the people to choose from.

I have chosen to spend my birthday, Feb. 17, protesting against present accepted and condoned discrimination in the electoral process so that future generations shall not be hampered by such progress-retarding stupidity.

I shall walk from the south steps of the Utah State Capitol starting at 2 p.m., south on State Street to 9400 South.
