Pitcher John Habyan lost in salary arbitration Saturday, the second straight day the New York Yankees have won their case.

Owners have won six of nine cases decided after hearings, including the Yankees' victory Friday over Jim Abbott.Habyan will get a $100,000 raise to $600,000, instead of his request for $830,000, arbitrator Theodore High decided.

In a case that didn't go to a hearing, pitcher Bob Tewksbury and the St. Louis Cardinals agreed at $2,625,000, halfway between his request for $3.2 million and the club's offer of $2.05 million. He made $825,000 last year.
