Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Brigham Clegg, age 84, passed away February 14, 1993 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Brigham was born July 23, 1908 in Salt Lake City Utah, the son of Brigham and Cloa Huffaker Clegg. He married Leona Louise Petersen on November 21, 1942 in San Francisco, California. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was with the Navel Transport Serivces during World War II. Retired mail foreman at the Utah State Capital for 26 years. Donated much time to the the Utah State Training School in American Fork in raising money and finding donated clothes for handicapped children. Enjoyed being a clown in the Days of 47 parade and numerous charities.Active member of the LDS Church serving in many positions of service. With his wife Leona served an LDS mission to Houston, Texas and for the past 14 years as a temple worker. Member of the Sons of Utah Pioneers, Sugar House Chapter. Member of the Mormon Battalion. Brigg and Leona just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last November.

Survivors include his wife Leona, Salt Lake City; one son and one daughter, Darlene (husband Drew F. ) Bolander and Dr. Richard (wife Anne ) Clegg; 12 grandchildren. Preceded in death by two sisters, Anneva and Blanche; three brothers, Heber, Reed and David; daughter, Carolyn Louise; granddaughter Hollie Marie.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 17, 1993, 12 noon, at the Grant 4th Ward, 1111 East Charlton ( 2815 So.). Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
