Our beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, Gladys Heder Biggs, 79, left us the 24th of February, 1993, at her home, of congestive heart failure.

Gladys was born on January 19, 1914, and was the daughter of John Earl and Alta Richardson Heder. She served a mission to the Northern States (Northern Indiana, West Michigan) Mission. She married Wilford Merwin Biggs on November 15, 1939 in the Mesa Arizona Temple.She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and one grandson.

She served a second mission with her husband to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City until her health failed. She was a member of the LDS Church. She has served as a Primary president, in the Relief Society presidency, ward historian and was an avid genealogist throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband of Provo, children, Alice Kristal Holmes of Littleton, Colorado; Wilford Earl of Ft. Worth, Texas; Merwin Ladd of Corona, California; Glennamae (Genni) Lott of Orem; Lanea Maurine Fullmer of Los Altos, California; Rene Alice (Dolly) Sheets of Highland; J'Earl Heder of Fairfield, California; Scott Winston of Nevada City, California; and Guywalter Ward of Auburn, California; 48 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27, at 2 p.m., in the Provo Fifteenth Ward Chapel, 85 South 900 East, Provo. Friends may call at the Provo Fifteenth Ward on Friday, February 26th from 7-9 p.m.a nd Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services. Burial will be in the Springville City Cemetery.
