Auditions for the Salt Lake Community College production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "The King and I" will be held on Saturday, March 13, from 9 a.m. until noon on the Grand Theatre stage, 1575 S. State St.
All roles are open except the King, to be played by David Jensen. Pat Davis, general manager of the Grand Theatre, will direct.The large cast features roles for 13 adult actress/singers, four adult males (nonsinging parts), several adult male and female dancers and a large ensemble of children (no younger than age 5). Be prepared to sing and dance. Bring a recent photograph. An accompanist will be provided.
"The King and I" will run nightly except Sundays, May 21-June 5 , with a matinee on June 5.
