Prince Philip was in the pilot's seat of his royal jet Tuesday as he left for a two-week official visit to the Caribbean. The trip has drawn complaints about the cost to taxpayers. Buckingham Palace defended the tour as "very much a working trip." It said Queen Elizabeth II's husband will give receptions aboard the royal yacht Britannia and will visit schools and hospitals.
