A West Valley man was charged with attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault Tuesday in connection with a Saturday shooting.
Christopher Greene, 20, faces the second- and third-degree felony counts in the shooting of Clarence Gilbert Fadden III, 22, also of West Valley City, according to a complaint filed in 3rd Circuit Court.During a party at an apartment at 4200 W. 3500 South, Fadden was first struck in the head with a frying pan - which broke his collarbone - and subsequently shot in the chest with a small-caliber handgun.
Police arriving at the complex arrested Greene after finding him hiding in bushes by the parking lot. He had blood on his hands and shirt, according to a police report.
Fadden was in stable condition at University Hospital Wednesday.
