The practicality of publishing in today's market will be the focus of a Brigham Young University Blue Key Honor Fraternity publishing conference Saturday, March 13.

The conference is free and open to the public.Registration will be 8 a.m. in the Tanner Building's west lobby on the first floor. Speakers will include a freelance writer, video production artist and editor of a science journal.

Representatives from the Deseret News, Deseret Book and Salt Lake City Magazine will give lectures at 9 and 10 a.m. After each lecture, timw will be set aside for questions.

Topics to be presented include publishing in the press, publishing original fiction, creating and distributing professional videos, creating a scientific scholarly paper from an idea to publication, publishing church literature, publishing in the graphic arts, and making research a lifelong pursuit.
