An oven fire Tuesday caused minor damage to a Magna home.

Salt Lake County fire crews had the blaze under control within minutes. The house, at 2843 S. 8850 West in Magna, was evacuated prior to the crew's arrival. There were no injuries.The fire in the kitchen oven caused substantial smoke, and crews stayed at the scene to ventilate the home, a county dispatcher said.
