Franklin Elementary School received $1,200 from Mountain Fuel to install three new computers in its lab and to buy software.
Mountain Fuel's Provo Service Center employees raised half the money selling food and craft items. Questar Corp., the utility's parent company, donated the other half."We have a strong philosophy in this district that the software and programs used by the students support the curriculum. The software we now have is used to expand the students' math skills. These funds will allow us to acquire software designed to expand their knowl-edge of language and social studies," said Kathy Luke, Provo School District director of elementary education.
Mountain Fuel's Provo workers raised money to build a fence around the Utah County Children's Justice Center last year.
