Registration has begun for spring quarter outreach courses at Sevier Valley Tech, to be offered by Snow College, Southern Utah University and Utah State University.
The quarter will begin March 29, and students may register during office hours at the Tech. Early registration is urged so that textbooks and other materials will be available when classes begin.USU courses are designed to lead to bachelor's and master's degrees, officials said.
SUU will continue with an elementary-education degree program aimed at June completion. Another degree program will begin in the fall.
In the meantime, prospective education majors who want to begin a student-program file may contact Melinda Greenwood at 896-8782. She can also answer questions regarding schedules, tuition, transcripts and financial aid for all of the outreach education programs at the Tech.
Snow College will continue a general education and elective schedule in the spring quarter. It will include such subjects and/or courses as critical composition in literature, mythology and folklore, a general chemistry course for registered nurse candidates, French, U.S. history, and human nutrition and general psychology in conjunction with Fitness for Life for prospective licensed practical nurse students.
